The saliva test is a moderately used drug test. It's advantage is that it can be done on site at most workplaces and does not require a laboratory to take and test the sample. While that sounds like an ideal test for an employer, it's not used more because it causes a lot of false positives and negative readings. It's just not as accurate as other testing methods.
